Amy commenced her events career working as a contractor with major events businesses (Colvin Communications and Peter Rowland Major Events) at the time of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games, where she worked on events for American “Fortune 500″ companies.  Amy then added a series of annual events to her portfolio with these major events businesses, which included Australia Day, Melbourne Cup and the Formula One Grand Prix.

Amy’s event successes led to her employment in 2002 by Australia’s #1 television network, the Seven Network, as the co-ordinator of Event Hospitality & Marketing and then Head of Corporate Hospitality and Olympic Events. In this “Head” role, Amy was responsible for the successful planning & execution of all corporate hospitality events for the Seven Network, including domestic (Rugby World Cup, Melbourne Cup Carnival AFL, Australian Open Tennis, V8 Supercars) and international events (Olympic Games – Athens 2004, Torino 2006 & Beijing 2008 and Commonwealth Games – Manchester, England).

Amy is well known for her ability to deliver creative hospitality (on budget!) at a superior level and has received testimonials to that effect from many clients and guests.

Amy is a hard-working, dedicated, passionate and personable events director who strives to achieve the best possible positive results for her clients.

Kristy has over a decade experience in events, marketing and public relations in both the domestic market and internationally during a stint in London. Through the years, she has worked on both the client side and for agencies delivering tailor-made event solutions within budget and in a timely and proficient manner.

Kristy earned her event stripes working for Australian department store icon, David Jones. Juggling a jammed packed retail calendar full of fashion launches, store openings, in-store events and celebrity appearances it was the perfect induction to large scale events, where her exceptional organisational skills, attention to detail and creative imagination were capitalised upon.

She then went onto David Lawrence, where again her ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines served her well. She planned and executed many special in-store events for the brand including customer VIP nights and fashion parades.

On the agency side, Kristy has worked for many well renowned brand names including Nokia, Unilever and Sunbeam learning quickly the importance of adapting to different clients and events. Her opinion and expertise was highly valued by senior staff as she developed close working relationships with her clients, forming part of their in-house team.

Kristy is a dedicated team member who is not afraid to put in the extra time to make a client’s event special and unique.

Kate brings a background in corporate and private event planning and production to Pomodorina.  With a degree in Marketing and Hospitality Management from UNSW, she relocated to New York where she stayed and worked in events for just over 10 years.

Kate’s event portfolio included numerous domestic conferences, fund-raising events, holiday parties, product launches, corporate outings and weddings for private and corporate clients before she was head hunted to join Karlitz & Company as their Senior Events Director for the Culinary Marketing Division.

Kate’s role at Karlitz was quickly promoted to Festival Executive Producer where she spear-headed the production of two inaugural festivals presented by Food & Wine and Travel + Leisure magazines: (i) the Foxwoods Resort Casino Food & Wine Festival and (ii) the Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival.

Kate was responsible for the successful execution of the 1st and 2nd annual New York Festivals which involved 120 events taking place over four days with 41,000 attendees, over 300 celebrated chefs, 100 wineries/spirits suppliers and 130 sponsors.

Now living back in Sydney, Kate is a valued member of the Pomodorina team, with a remarkable attention to detail and a commitment to ensure every client is a satisfied one.


  • Madeline Agnew

As Pomodorina’s Creative Consultant, Madeline Agnew hails from an artistic background of music, dance, styling and design.

Madeline has had extensive experience in dance choreography, performance and production as well as in styling for fashion shoots and runway shows. Her portfolio includes several Australian Fashion Week designers and has not been limited to fashion – she has also styled for music videos and has even enjoyed a brief stint as a recording artist.

Based in New York, Madeline launched a jewellery based design label, Coco Devine, which upon her return to Sydney, enabled fashion runway collaborations with the likes of Australia’s Liza Emanuele and an opportunity to enhance her skills in fashion exhibition space design.

Madeline has a keen eye for detail and a passion for creativity. Pomodorina loves that her event styling capabilities can range from showstopper and “bling” to feng shui ambience and natural beauty. She is a prized member of the Pomodorina team.
